aside from VII i feel the rest are inferior, tho still good, obviously the graphics have got better and better ill do a quick run through -
VIII - poor storyline and main anatgonist, cool graphics tho, appauling battle system
IX - i felt was better than it was given credit for, storyline was better than VIII's, the whole old world feel of the game was very cool and lots of airships and castles, characters weren't great tho
X - I feel survived by the brilliant graphics it used, the removal of the map and a free airship was bad, some characters better than others, Tidus was a wuss, give me Cloud and Squall anyday - weapons were pretty crap
X-2 i liked the real time battle system, that was it's saving grace (that and scantily clad ladies) - it was a fairly weak game overall tho but i say fair play to square enix for trying something new on the ff series
